Burleigh Heads Anglican Church
St. Johns - Burleigh Heads
Here at St. Johns' we extend a warm welcome to anyone visiting or new to the coast.
Communicant members of any Christian Church are invited to receive Holy Communion at the 8:30am service and we would be delighted if you could join us for morning tea afterwards.
Anyone looking to fill-up their emotional and spiritual 'tank' are welcome to visit our modern service at 10:30am. This new service is laid back and offers a place to connect to a new spiritual community.
All are welcome to come along to join in the fellowship!
We also have a mid-week service every Wednesday at 9:30am in the chapel at St. Johns'.
A new spiritual community!
I am excited to announce that we have launched 'CHILL CHURCH' - a new worship service meeting every Sunday @ 10:30am. We are looking for committed people to help form the core of our community as we start this new initiative. Everyone is welcome. This is a safe community committed to the values of Faith, Service & Love, as embodied by Jesus.
Worship will be 60 minutes in length; short and to the point. You can expect dynamic worship, genuine people and an atmosphere that welcomes ALL!
I look forward to hearing from you – Rev. Eron.

Message From Rev. Eron
Welcome to Burleigh Heads Anglican Church (BHAC). I am the Parish Priest (Priest-in-Charge), and I am excited to be serving the church family here at BHAC. Come along and join me as we start a number of new initiatives across the whole church. Our new Mission Action Plan (MAP) has us on course to prioritise our Ministry and Mission activities towards FAMILIES, DISCIPLESHIP, WORSHIP and SOCAL-CARE. I’m looking forward to seeing what God has planned for us as we grow on the strengths of the existing ministries and set forth exploring new ways to connect and share the amazing love and hope of Jesus.
Reverend Eron Perry
Baptism remains a mark of celebration and initiation to many people whether as an acknowledgement of Christian faith or as a tentative step towards deeper understanding. Baptism (or Christening as it is sometimes called) is an exciting step on the journey of faith. We love to help couples out as they prepare to exchange some very major and life-long promises.
Weddings can take place in our church or in an appropriate place of your choosing. As ministers of the Anglican Church of Australia we only use an authorised Anglican form of wedding service.
Australian law requires that we, as marriage celebrants, complete certain documents somewhere between 18 months and 1 month prior to the date of the wedding. But we want to talk to you about more than just government documents.
We want to talk to you about the promises you make to each other and to God. We also want to make sure, as much as we can, that your marriage is 'till you are separated by death'. So use the 'Contact Us' section of the website and we would be privileged to meet with you.
We provide a tailored church service, ranging from large or to a more intimate gathering where you can farewell loved ones. We consider these services as opportunities to give thanks to God for the lives of loved ones and a time to remember and share precious moments. We are able to conduct funeral services at St. John's church where we can hold up to 200 people or other locations more suitable to the needs of the family.
We also encourage people to think about their own funeral before the event and are happy to draw up some directions for the funeral service with you.
Use the 'Contact Us' section of the website to make an enquiry - or get your Funeral Director to give us a call.
